Inside the root
Very happy to be part of the group exhibition "One Root, one artist". Akutiga proposed to several artists to create an artwork in a Teak root.
I found it a very interesting project, I love to try different media. I like the challenge!
In this case I wanted to take advantage of the surface of the root, so I simulated the carving of a flower in the center adorned with fillgranas and letters.
Currently is displayed at Promenade Saint-Catherine in Bordeaux, France.
