Ornamental Ocelot
In April, I embarked on an artistic journey in Valencia, specifically in the picturesque town of Cheste. For almost a decade, the vibrant urban art festival, GraffiteaCheste, has graced these streets, and this year I was lucky enough to participate in its colorful tapestry, share experience with other artists, and immerse myself in the city's mural heritage.
For this occasion I wanted to paint an idea that had been in my head for a long time. Behold, Ornamental Ocelot: a harmonious fusion of reality and dream, where the elegant essence of the feline is intertwined with intricate ornaments and delicate roses, evoking a majestic sentinel that defends the city.
My love for felines is no secret and, in this work, I sought to pay tribute to these animals that have long captured my imagination. I was painting for 5 days and it was gratifying to see people's reactions, a testament to the profound impact art can have on everyday life.
While Ornamental Ocelot remains a silent guardian amidst the daily flow, I am glad for the opportunity to contribute to Cheste's ever-evolving artistic narrative.
