Chaos & Beauty
If you've been keeping up with my social media updates, you may have seen the new project I embarked on in Montreal at the end of March. It was a great adventure: a blank hangar canvas awaited my art, a challenge I eagerly accepted. I have to thank my client who gave me total creative freedom and trusted my art to carry out this project.
His only directives? I created a mural that showed an apocalyptic scene but surrounded by beauty.
The protagonists of the composition are the two stunning female figures like sentinels at the edges of the hangar, and their presence demands attention and respect. They are not alone in their vigilance, beside them, a menagerie of creatures emerges from the chaos: a fiercely loyal puma clings to the winged woman's arm, while a raven and a spider, symbols of mystery, court on the other side.
Yet amidst the turmoil of destruction, there is a poignant juxtaposition: delicate flowers, resilient and defiant, sprout amidst the chaos.
Bringing this vision to life was a journey of artistic exploration where I also fused my ornamental style with various elements of the mural.
This project has been the one I dedicated the most time to, around 13 days. As many of you know, my style is characterized by meticulous attention to detail and a fear of white space. I am happy to finally be able to show you the result of the project. Thank you for following me on my artistic journey.
