Pequeña actualización de mi vida artística
Ha pasado un tiempo desde que publiqué en el blog ya que estuve centrado en varios proyectos estos meses. A veces la vida del artista es una locura que tiene que dedicar tiempo a desarrollar su propio trabajo personal, proyectos, pinturas, diseños digitales además de gestionar las tareas propias del trabajo por cuenta propia. De todos modos, quiero contaros en qué he estado trabajando desde mi último post en octubre.
Blanes Urban Fest
Ha pasado un tiempo, pero el parón valió la pena, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta el gran mural que tuve el privilegio de crear en Blanes. Esta ciudad costera, cerca de Barcelona, sirvió de lienzo para lo que sin duda se ha convertido en uno de mis murales más destacados del año. El blog pronto incluirá un artículo exclusivo que profundizará en los detalles de este extraordinario proyecto. Hay algo especial en crear arte a gran escala cerca de casa, y Blanes Urban Fest fue prueba de ello.
Acat - Diosa mexicana del tatuaje
También estaba terminando este encargo titulado Acat para un cliente particular que es tatuador, de ahí la temática. No es el primer cuadro de temática mexicana que me encargan, en 2022 pinté uno relacionado con Tláloc, el dios mexicano del agua. Amo esta cultura ya que he podido inspirarme en muchos elementos. Queríamos que la figura principal fuera una poderosa mujer exótica que sostenía una aguja de tatuaje fusionada con la naturaleza. La mujer tiene tatuados elementos de la cultura mexicana como Quetzalcóatl, la serpiente alada y detalles que el cliente solicitó específicamente. También quería agregar muchos elementos tropicales para acompañar a la figura principal./p>
Miami Art Basel: Nina Simone Mural
Diciembre brindó una oportunidad emocionante para contribuir al evento Art Basel en Miami. Me embarqué en un proyecto en Overtown, un área que enfrenta desafíos socioeconómicos. El objetivo era claro: utilizar el arte como catalizador para un cambio positivo. Al inmortalizar a Nina Simone, un ícono, en un mural y capturar la esencia de Miami con un flamenco vibrante en otra fachada, el resultado fue una transformación llamativa y colorida. El arte, en este contexto, se convirtió en una herramienta poderosa, que resalta la belleza, la diversidad cultural y contribuye a la revitalización de una comunidad necesitada.
Primer mural del año
Cada enero marca la creación de mi primer mural del año, una "carta de intención" simbólica para los meses venideros. Este año quise fusionar varios elementos importantes en mi trabajo como la figura de la mujer, los animes y las letras 3D. Estos trabajos son autofinanciados por mí y lo considero una forma crucial de evolucionar mi estilo.

En enero también tuve el honor de participar en la nueva expo organizada por Notorious Brand dentro del festival Gravity. Mi trabajo se llama Gravity y Cada artista recibió cascos no funcionales con el desafío de darles una nueva vida, generar conciencia sobre el reciclaje y tomar conciencia de la necesidad de cuidar el medio ambiente. Quería transformarlos en una representación simbólica de una lata de aerosol, rindiendo homenaje a dos elementos de la cultura Hip hop (graffiti y rap). Además, la obra de arte también representa elementos de la naturaleza fusionando lo urbano y lo salvaje. Tablero de técnica mixta de 30x30cm. Galerie Nature Forte (París). Esto ha sido un poco un resumen de los últimos meses, ahora me estoy embarcando en otros proyectos y pronto publicaré novedades en mi web.
