Para quien no lo conozca Per fue uno de los propulsores del graffiti en Nueva York y su legado ha inspirado a artistas de todo el mundo.
Fue el fundador de FX una de las crews más importantes y para mí es un honor formar parte de ella. En Diciembre me invitaron a unirme y me pareció perfecto aprovechar mi viaje a estados unidos para conocerlos.
Per estaba organizando un muro por la paz mundial donde se juntaría Fx, Tats y algún invitado, iba a ser un evento importante.
Al inicio de la semana del evento estuve con Per y Blame barajando ideas. Para mí fue un shock que a los dos días nos dieran la noticia de que había fallecido. Obviamente todo fue muy emotivo y tristemente el evento fue un homenaje a su vida y legado.
Para mí fue un honor y una gran responsabilidad realizar su retrato. Estuve arropado en todo momento por Fx y Tats, me hicieron sentir en familia. Recibir la gratitud de la familia de Per para mí fue de lo más emotivo que me ha pasado.
Fue increíble conocer a las leyendas del graffiti y compartir muro con ellos. Además era un spot muy especial ya que era donde estaba la mítica producción de FX de la estatua de la libertad apocalíptica, un muro que marcó a varias generaciones. Nunca hubiera imaginado poder pintar ahí.
